Doggy Granola Bars is a big dog recipe that keeps well in the freezer if needed. This dog recipe is in a larger quantity because of the large can of pumpkin. Cut in half if needed for making dog treats for smaller dogs. This is a good any time dog treat that has a good sweet flavor.
11 cups oatmeal
3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
8 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup honey
1/2 cup molasses
2 cups whole milk
1 large can solid pack pumpkin
4 mashed bananas very ripe
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease two cookie sheets. Mix everything into a very large bowl. Mix everything together very well and put onto the greased cookie sheets. Bake for 1 hour. Turn oven off and let the granola cool in the oven. Cut into bars or break off pieces whenever you want to give dog treats. Keep some in the freezer for later use too for a long lasting dog treat.
