Frozen Banana Doggy Pops

Frozen Banana Doggy Pops are some summertime silliness for your dog. These dog treats take a different direction by making a frozen dog treat rather than making a baked dog treat. A cold dog treat on a summer day will have your dog forgetting all about the heat. This isn't dog food, this is the ice cream truck in the same home as your dog. Ring the bell and call the dog for Frozen Banana Doggy Pops.

1   quart vanilla yogurt
1   banana very ripe or banana baby food
2   Tbsp honey
2   Tbsp peanut butter
 
Mash the sweet banana well and mix all ingredients until well blended. A food processor or blender can be used. Put the mixture into ice cube trays or small paper bathroom sized cups and freeze. You can store these dog treats once they are frozen by putting them in freezer bags. Add or change the ingredients to make variations to get a dog treat that is tailor made for your dog. Carob powder, granola or different flavor yogurts can be added to mix things up. A good summertime dog treat.
