Tasty Salmon Poppers Cat Food Recipe is a baked treat for your cat. Fun to make and simple makes this a good project for kids too. The salmon can also be replaced with lesser expensive mackerel fish. This is a cat food recipe that offers a baked treat rather than regular cat food. Toss one to your cat and watch them enjoy a little cat treat. Adjust the bread crumbs and oil, or even the amount of salmon if the consistency is too dry or wet. This is a good cat food recipe in an easy to keep cat treat.

1/2       cup canned salmon drained, remove bones
1          cup whole grain bread crumbs
1          tbsp vegetable oil or corn oil
1          large egg beaten

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, mash the fish into small pieces and add all the other ingredients. Mix well into a dough like consistency. Drop the mixture with a spoon onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Watch to make sure they don't become too brown or burn. Cool and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. This is a good cat food recipe for having little tasty treats at the ready for your cat. The great taste of fish makes this a cat treat of choice.
