Tuna Treats Cat Food Recipe is another good way to give your cat fresh cat treats. Cats like the taste of tuna and this cat food recipe offers tuna in a convenient cat food recipe. Raise or lower the amount of flour and water to get this baked cat treat to the right consistency. Too wet or too dry is easily adjusted. A nice cat treat.
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup nonfat powdered milk
1/2 can tuna in oil
1 tbsp vegetable oil or cod liver oil
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, mash the tuna well and add the flour and powdered milk. Mix this well and stir in the water, oil, and egg. Mix it all well into a sticky dough by adjusting the moisture content. Scoop into small balls and place on a greased baking sheets. Press the balls flat to resemble a cookie. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove the baking sheet and let the cat treats cool. Turn all of the cat treats over and bake another 10 minutes until brown. Watch to make sure they don't over brown or burn. Cool and store in the refrigerator in a sealed container. This is a good cat food recipe and a cat treat your cat will enjoy. Tuna Treats will have your cat running to you.
