My dog is normally calm and easy going, but when walking shows aggression to other dogs. I am constantly fighting the leash when any other dog comes near. It makes me nervous when other people don't keep a tight grasp on their pet. How do I tone her down when leash walking?

How old is your dog? Do you take her out often? Has she spent much time around other dogs? It could be a social problem that your pet is not getting enough time around other dogs.

She hasn't had a lot of exposure to other dogs until I started my walking routine.

More exposure to other dogs or even longer outings may calm her down. After all, a tired dog is a well behaved dog. How much time does she get away from the house and yard each day?

Socializing more often. You have been given good advice.

The more interaction, the less it will be so intense. Interaction should calm your dog down.
