Are Pit Bulls really that mean or do people train them to be mean? Their heads are so big and wide which looks a little scary. I have seen many that are way nice. You hear about them in the news a lot for being mean.

Pit Bulls are no meaner than most dogs. It's a myth. They do have very strong jaws though which means if they are trained to be mean, they can do a lot of damage.

Most dogs can be trained to be mean. Pit Bulls do have strong jaws. Don't get close to one unless you know the dog.
