Food training dogs.

I see on TV, people training dogs with food. It seems like a distraction to me. My dog seems to work better with praise and attention. Is this a debate? Or is one way better than another?

It is indeed an endless debate, but I prefer not using food.

I prefer training with praise. Although little bits of food get the dogs attention at the big dog shows.

I don't like food training much either. The pros seem to use it a lot through.
