Dog Beds with exposed foam

Watch out for the cheap dog beds that have exposed foam rubber on the bottom. Dogs and puppies shred this stuff like crazy. It makes a mess and they can eat it too. Make sure the bottom of the bed is closed by fabric.

They are usually cheap to buy but don't last long at all. The foam bottom will tear too.

No doubt. Quality is important. The cheap dog beds don't last at all. A good quality dog bed will last a long time.

You pay more up front for a good bed but they last forever. Some of the imported fabrics don't last at all.

Puppies especially will chew on anything. Be careful of the cheap fabrics that are being used on lesser brands of pet beds. Dog beds and cat beds should be sturdy and durable.

Buy quality with something machine washable. Pet beds are so much easier to keep clean if they can be washed easily.

Foam in dog beds is easy to shred. Especially with puppies.
