Having never owned an Iguana, I've wondered if they make good pets. At the pet store they seem to sleep all day.

I don't know. It only appears that teenagers want lizards and iguanas for pets. What would you do with it? Feed it bugs?

Interesting looking but how lovable I don't know. Snakes and lizards seem to be more interesting to teenagers. I agree.

Good pets in what way? They are odd at best.

I don't understand the attraction to some of the exotic pets. I prefer dogs because they do so much. Companionship, training, watchdogs, and you can play games etc. Lizards and snakes don't seem like pets to me. But that is just me.

It seems funny to call a snake or lizard a pet. It doesn't sound right to me. When I think of the word pet, I always think of something furry. Even a furry hamster doesn't sound like a pet. So maybe, to me, a pet is something slightly larger and furry. Cats and dogs fit the description.
