Cat Ear Mites

They drive the cat crazy. Shaking his head. Using cotton swabs works okay. Always looking for a better way to keep cat ear mites in check. Suggestions?

Ear drops. But the cat will shake them out if you let them.

If you rub your cat's ear a little after putting the ear drops in, it seems to be less annoying. Also, if you keep the ear drops in your pocket and let them get warm from your body temperature it is less annoying too. Cats don't like the feeling of cold drops in their ears.

Ear mites aren't normally hard to get rid of in cats.

Cats get dirty ears too. A good cleaning is needed sometimes too.

Ear mites are very common.
