Birds are driving me crazy

We have two love birds and they are driving me crazy. They start chirping for no reason and I swear the more it irritates me, the more they do it.

Putting a sheet over the cage is the only thing that quiets them down. Aren't they supposed to be quiet birds?

I think they are noisier when they aren't in pairs. Love birds don't like to be alone.

We got another bird and it made a difference. They are quieter.
